Job Description
DPR Construction is seeking a Superintendent with at least 5+ years of commercial concrete experience. This individual will be responsible for management of day to day execution and management of all field personnel. The Superintendent will run multiple jobs and crews in various locations and stages of construction. They will work closely with all members of the project team and supervise all craft employees and will be responsible for the following:Oversee, manage and mentor Concrete Foreman and jobsite leadsCreate construction schedules, perform regular updates, monitor logic relationships, and insert new activities and impactsCoordinate jobsite logistics and maintain relationships with other trades and GC teamProcurement and tracking of all materialsLead DPR’s Injury-Free Environment (IFE) Safety ProgramCoordinate work scopes, scheduling, and resource-loadingFoster the development of foreman to grow into future superintendentsProfessionally represent DPR Field Operations as primary interface with GC TeamsWe are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:Excellent listening skills and strong communication skillsAbility to identify and resolve complex issuesEffective participation in team environmentProficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management software, and scheduling software5+ years of experience as a superintendent in the commercial concrete industry.A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitudeDPR has been nationally recognized for its strong company culture, based on a well-defined purpose “We Exist to Build Great Things,” and four core values: integrity, enjoyment, uniqueness and ever forward.
