Our firm has offices in Los Angeles, New York City, Nashville, San Rafael, Wilmington, and London.The Label Administration department handles complex royalty accounting for independent music labels, legacy artists and sound recording catalog owners. The Label Administration department at GRF is part of the Royalty Group which includes Music Audit, TV/Film Audit, Valuation and Music Publishing departments.Location:
This position can be based out of Nashville (TN), New York City, Los Angeles (CA) or White Plains (NY) on a hybrid basis.Summarize artist and third-party agreements and apply key provisions to the preparation of royalty statementsAnalyze sales data files from various distribution sourcesMusic product metadata, artist royalty rates and mechanical license setup in royalty accounting softwareMechanical royalty preparation which includes confirming publishing splits and obtaining mechanical licenses.Working knowledge of royalty accounting software (RoyaltyShare, Curve, Record Maestro, or SR1)Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, mainly Excel (pivot tables and formulas)Strong analytical skills and attention to detailEfficient use of time and can prioritize tasks to meet strict deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills to create and maintain a trusting relationship with staff and clientsRequired Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ years of experience in similar rolePreferred Education & Experience:
2+ years of experience in similar role, with royalty software experienceWork Environment & Physical Demands:
This job operates in an office setting. The role routinely uses standard office equipment (computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, etc.). This is a largely sedentary role, but some duties may require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on occasion.Hybrid Work Eligibility:
This position is eligible for hybrid work. The hybrid work arrangement may be adjusted or altered to fill the needs of the role, including potentially working in-office for 3+ days per week.The expected base compensation hiring range for these positions is as follows:Analyst: $57,013 to $60,029 per yearSr. Analyst: $70,034 to $80,538 per yearImages
