In this vital role you will be responsible for management and delivery of direct patient care at the Occupational Health Clinic based in Thousand Oaks, CA, along with oversight of 2 additional locations. As an integrated member of the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) team the Director of Occupational Health will support EHS initiatives to enhance health, promote injury prevention, and drive wellbeing through clinical leadership. The role will be responsible for Occupational Health programming and delivering of high-quality patient care in an on-site setting. The role will perform clinical assessments, diagnosis and treatments for work related injury and illness patients independently and in collaboration with the occupational health team.Oversee the delivery of occupational health services, including injury and illness prevention, health promotion, and disability managementDeliver advanced practice nurse practitioner careDevelop and implement occupational health policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.Manage a team of occupational health professionals, providing guidance, support, and management.Collaborate with key stakeholders, including HR, EHS, and site leadership, to ensure the integration of occupational health initiatives into company operations.Monitor and analyze safety and health indicators, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including OSHA and workers' compensation.Manage the budget for occupational health services, ensuring cost-effective delivery of services.Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, management, human resources, and security teamsCompliance with ethical, legal, professional requirements, and corporate policies and procedures.WinWhat we expect of youWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The experienced professional we seek is a strong leader with these qualificationsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of Occupational Health Management experienceOrMaster’s degree and 8 years of Occupational Health Management experienceOrDoctorate degree and 4 years of Occupational Health Management experienceIn addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have at least 4 years experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced abovePreferred Qualifications:3+ years occupational health experience3+ years experience as a nurse practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department settingCurrent and valid California Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner licenseCurrent California furnishing licenseCurrent DEA licenseCurrent CPR/BLS CertificationExperience with workers compensation, case management, OSHA regulations, and maintaining OSHA recordsExperience with audiometry and spirometryProficiency with electronic medical recordsKnowledge of workplace health and safety principlesKnowledge of OSHA regulations and workers compensation knowledge requiredand Microsoft.Demonstrated people leadership experienceDemonstrated people leadership skills,Excellent communications skills: interpersonal, verbal, and writtenAbility to motivate others and work effectively in teamsStrong clinical skills and ability to rapidly prioritize responsibilities in response to clinical need and staff population.Occupational Health and safety principlesComputer literacy and competency in Microsoft officeStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience with workers compensation, case management, OSHA regulations, and maintaining OSHA recordsExperience with audiometry and spirometryWhat you can expect of usAs we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates’ professional and personal growth and well-being.The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted.
