RiversEdge Advisors is a financial planning firm in Wilmington, DE. We are a fee-based firm located in the heart of Downtown Wilmington. The firm is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to support our continued growth and to help manage existing client relationships.
Responsibilities Include:
Support lead advisors in managing client relationships and delivering personalized financial planning and investment management servicesThis role involves both client-facing tasks and essential back-office support, including preparing and processing Schwab paperwork, assisting with financial plan development, and ensuring client satisfactionLead client performance review meetings for investment only clientsService client accountsPrepare for and participate in client meetings, including gathering necessary information and documentationFollow up on client meeting action items and address client inquiries promptly to ensure high client satisfactionSupport the creation of comprehensive financial plans tailored to clients' goals and financial situationsConduct financial analysis, including cash flow projections, retirement planning, tax planning and investment analysisPrepare financial reports and presentations for client meetingsAssist in the implementation of investment strategies and monitor client portfoliosPrepare and process Schwab paperwork, including account openings, transfers, and other account maintenance tasksEnsure all documentation is accurately and timely completed, adhering to compliance requirementsMaintain organized and up-to-date client files and recordsStay current with industry trends, regulatory changes and best practicesPursue relevant certifications and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skillsPosition Requirements:
2+ years of experienceSeries65 or equivalent certification requiredCFP designation a plusExperience with Schwab paperwork and a strong understanding of Schwab's systems and processesExcellent written and verbal communicationStrong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skillsExcellent client service communicationDesire to work in a team environment and be a team playerFamiliarity with our current systems is a plus, but not required: Salesforce, MoneyGuidePro, Holistiplan, eMoney, Schwab, OrionMust be a self-starter and a problem solverStrong attention to detailBenefits:
