Houston, Tx.
Sunflower Bank N.A. is seeking a seasoned Wealth Management Advisor responsible for providing thoughtful and meaningful wealth planning and investment management advice to high-net-worth individuals, families, businesses, and non-profit organizations. The Advisor identifies opportunities in the high-net-worth market segment through direct prospecting, development of centers of influence and networking with other key influencers resulting in new high-net-worth relationships at the Bank. This position is an advocate for the prospect/client, leveraging the comprehensive resources of the company. With thorough discovery and a focus on planning, the Advisor is responsible for educating and advising prospects/clients to create customized wealth management strategies developed to meet prospects'/clients' needs and objectives.
Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop customized financial planning and wealth management strategies aligned with client goals and circumstances.Identify, solicit, and cultivate new relationships with high-net-worth individuals and families, professional service companies, non-profit and foundation clients.Deliver high quality client service as well as appropriate recommendations to address unmet needs to enhance existing relationships.Effective execution of sales and market development plan addressing referrals from existing clients, line of business partners and centers of influence.Explain complex strategies in easy-to-understand and concise terminology.Deliver high quality presentations and clearly convey wealth management's unique value proposition, investment philosophy, and range of investment and non-investment solutions beneficial to the client.Meet regularly with clients to review and update financial plans, present investment performance, and relay the firm's market and economic outlook.Practice departmental strategies for the delivery of quality and effective customer service.Monitor Wealth Management policies on an ongoing basis for regulation compliance.Understand the bank's mission, organizational structure, employee orientation guide, bank security, policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.Maintain profitability of Wealth Management client relationships.Perform the job in accordance with applicable industry laws and regulations as well as the policies and procedures established by the company.Responsible for upholding Fair and Responsible Banking practices and Code of Ethics and Conduct guidelines.Understand and participate in the Bank's Community Reinvestment Act program.Perform other duties as assigned.Education/Experience Preferred:
7 or more years of success in trust and investment sales to high-net-worth clients.Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or other related fieldCertified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation highly preferredExperience utilizing MoneyguidePro or similar financial planning software to create comprehensive cash flow and retirement plansMust possess strong sales skills, the ability to recognize sales opportunities and the drive to pursue them vigorously.Must possess a high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to read situations accurately.Must possess business development, COI development and creative networking skills.Must have a professional appearance and manner.Must be self-motivated and able to develop a sales culture.Expected to participate in ongoing Sunflower Bank, N.A. seminars and training dealing with Wealth Management sales, marketing and compliance.Must be able to work flexible hours.Must be bondable.Must be able to work flexible hours.Sunflower Bank Benefits employees enjoy outstanding benefits, including:
