A premier residential real estate development firm is seeking someone to join their Finance team in the Tamps/Sarasota area as the new Senior Finance Manager/Analyst. Responsibilities:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst/Manager with extensive experience in joint venture real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and a deep understanding of residential and commercial development projects. This role involves developing and managing complex cash flow models, pro forma statements, and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making and deal structuring.

Financial Modeling and Analysis:Develop and manage complex Excel-based cash flow models for pro forma, forecasting, and projections.Create detailed waterfall structures to analyze and distribute financial returns among joint venture partners.Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess the impact of various assumptions and market conditions on project feasibility and profitability.Joint Venture Transactions:

Understand and navigate the complexities of joint venture real estate transactions, including partnership structures, equity contributions, and profit-sharing arrangements.Collaborate with legal, financial, and development teams to structure and negotiate joint venture agreements.Ensure alignment of joint venture strategies with overall corporate objectives and project goals.Strategic Planning:

Participate in the strategic planning process by providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management.Evaluate potential development opportunities and contribute to the formulation of acquisition and disposition strategies.Monitor and report on the financial performance of ongoing projects, identifying areas for improvement and risk mitigation.Deal Structuring:

Analyze and structure real estate deals to optimize financial returns and minimize risks.Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and investment memos for internal and external stakeholders.Assist in the due diligence process for new acquisitions and development projects, including financial feasibility studies and market analysis.Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MSRE) preferred.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, real estate development, or investment management, with a focus on joint venture partnerships.Expert-level proficiency in Excel, including advanced financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data visualization.Strong understanding of residential and commercial real estate development projects.Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
