We are currently hiring for:Job Title:Dock UtilityJob Summary: Dock Material Handler is responsible for operating the powered industrial truck and forklift to move product, equipment, or materials. Wage:$20.50per hourPrimary Responsibilities:Responsible for operating a powered industrial truck and forklift safely.Responsible for pre-operational inspections of the powered industrial truck and forklift.Operate a scanner and learn the required transactions in the process.Responsible for picking both fresh and frozen products.Responsible for loading and unloading trucks along with completing the necessary documentation.Maintenance and good housekeeping duties.Repair and sort pallets.Other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Must be 18 years of age or older.Must be able to work extended hours and weekends if needed.High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Minimum of 1 year of related experience is preferred.Previous experience working in production/manufacturing environment is preferred.Previous powered industrial truck and forklift experience is preferred.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Must be able to work independently without constant supervision.Must be able to problem solve.Must have great attention to detail.Must be able to work in cold environment.Must be able to become certified operator for both the powered industrial truck and forklift.Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen and physical.West Liberty Foods is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
