Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Driver Technician to join our team. As a Driver Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods and equipment. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems on the go.
No CDL Required. - Clean Driving History Required.
ResponsibilitiesSafely operates medium to large trucks daily to deliver and pick up rental equipment at theme parks, resorts, and other facilities as instructedDeliver orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered according to established time frames and customer/guest needsPerform maintenance services for mobility equipment, including strollers, wheelchairs, ECV's, lockers and other allied equipmentEnsure documents delivery and accuracy, and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives reporting any discrepancies to companyMaintain a safe work area and complies with safety procedures and equipment operating rules, keeping work areas in a clean and orderly conditionConduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenanceLoading and unloading equipment in a timely mannerFollow all traffic laws and regulationsMaintain accurate records of deliveries and pickupsAssist with the setup and breakdown of equipment as requiredProviding exceptional customer service and addressing any concernsPerform other duties as assignedRequirements
Valid driver's licenseMinimum of [2] years of experience as a box truck driverStrong knowledge of local roads and routesExcellent driving and computer skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasksExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyBasic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshootingFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
