Delivery Driver

Kimball Equipment Company, a leader in the aggregate mining and supply industry since 1946, is actively recruiting for the position of delivery driver in our Sacramento location. Kimball Equipment Company is a successful dealer for brands such as Terex Cedarapids, Terex Finlay, and Superior Industries. We are growing quickly and are looking for someone motivated to grow with us!

Responsibilities:

Loading, transporting, and delivering items in a safe, timely manner.Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.Providing excellent customer service and answering questionsAdhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.Requirements:

Valid driver's license issued by the state.Clean driving record.Some warehouse/driver experience preferred.Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.Strong time management and customer service skills.Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.Attention to detail.If you possess a strong work ethic and the desire to learn, experience is not required. We are willing to train those who are career minded .
