**Description**Mayday Manufacturing is a leading Aerospace manufacturing company in Denton, Texas that provides a dynamic work environment with cutting edge manufacturing technology. Our company supports the growth and future of the Aerospace industry and is looking to add a 1 st shift Packager I position to our team to contribute to our advancement.Job Description:Ensure all shipping orders are accurately and efficiently processed, invoiced, and recorded with necessary documentation. Work performed under general supervision.Duties and Responsibilities (Essential job responsibilities are italicized):Review router, purchase order and set-up sheet for each job ensuring accuracy daily.Ensure the quantity of parts received matches the quantity listed on the purchase order, router, or set-up sheet for each job daily.Perform part identification and part preservation in accordance with the customer requirements listed on the router for each job daily.Read, understand, and follow the instructions listed on the router, certification of compliance, set-up sheet, purchase order, and shippers.Verify part and manufacturer numbers listed on the packaging, and match them to the numbers listed on the router and purchase order.Pull jobs from designated staging area and count, bag, & package parts according to customer requirements and specifications.Complete set-up sheet for each job daily.Electronically change the location of parts in the inventory system, as needed.Ensure that each job has all copies of the necessary paperwork (i.e. purchase order, certificate of conformance, etc.) is in the box before shipping each job out.Place packaged job in designated area for processing when job is ready go out.Scan all documentation related to each job and place in an electronic file on server daily.File hard copy of router numerically daily.Archive old jobs at year end.Adhere to company safety standards at all times.Maintain security and confidentiality of all files at all times.Perform other incidental and related duties as assigned.Training to Export Compliance will be required.Skills:General knowledge of shipping and packaging concepts, practices, and procedures.High level of attention to detail required.Excellent math & reasoning skills with the ability to read & interpret complex documents.Effectively communicate by written or verbal skills with customers, vendors, and others across various organizational functions to resolve issues.Fluently speak, read, and write English and Spanish.Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness.Solve problems & make decisions where there are clearly defined objectives & functional direction.Basic computer skills using MS Office products.Ability to learn internet based shipping software (UPS, FedEx, etc.).Education / Licensing Requirements:High school degree or equivalent.Access to information needed for Duties and Responsibilities will be restricted as needed in accordance with the Technology Control Plan.Experience Requirements:No experience necessary.Working Conditions:Work is performed in a typical warehouse setting.Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: good hand and eye coordination, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, transporting supplies or equipment, sitting or standing for extended periods of time at a desk or table, and lifting and carrying items which may weigh up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.Hearing and vision must be corrected within normal range.
