* Operates manual pallet jack, industrial forklift truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products from both trucks and equipment. Review WIP labels and or finished goods label for next operation (remove old tags or labels from returnable dunnage. Operate in a safe manner.* Perform daily safety inspections of forklift, pallet jacks and crane (as applicable). Ensure all products have WIP tags, supplies, fluids are stored/stacked in a safety manner.* Pre-stage material at each work center. Ensure timely placement/removal of material, packaging materials and components and returnable dunnage.* Monitors WIP inventory and prepares skids to ship to subcontractors based on pre-determined minimum lot quantities* Tracks and compares identifying information (labels, part numbers, etc.) and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.* Utilize Plex and hand held scanners to perform material moves and merges, posts shipping documentation and shipping ASN, unpack and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages that corresponds with any shipper to rectify shortages.* Creates and affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons as required* Manually assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects pre-assembled containers per the requirements of the material in question. Bands and packs parts into appropriate containers.* Examines outgoing shipments to ensure compliance to customer specifications* Perform physical inventory and cycle counts of reported WIP / Dunnage as requested.* Monitor and report any deficiencies with required SDS Labels of all barrels, totes, containers.* Remove chips for all work centers in hazardous wastes drums. Remove trash and assist in the clean-up and maintenance of both inside and the outside plant.* Assist with the cleaning of machinery and equipment as needed.* Perform cleanup of oil and coolant spills.* Keeps manufacturing areas clean, organized and safe always.* Assist in loading/unloading trucks. Receives, checks quantities skids both coming in and going out.* Assist with production and inventory on all work centers as requested.* Participates in proactive team efforts and shares knowledge/skills to achieve departmental and company goals.* Support and comply with all Master Automatic company/safety standard operating procedures.
