If you are a professional who wants to work in an autonomous, hands-on environment, we invite you to apply.* The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is dedicated to improving lives and passionate about growth* The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best* Thrive in a company that values sustainability, drives a safety-focused culture and empowers through continuous improvement* Comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matching and more!**Whats in it For You:****What You Will Do:*** Processes all outbound shipping including determining method of shipment by examining items to be shipped, destination, route, rate and time of shipment, and documenting items shipped by recording identifying information of items and transport information.**Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:*** Moves material to point of use at assembly cells and move finished products to storage areas.* Builds appropriate shipping crates for shipping by road, sea or air; prepares shipments by assembling, packing, and loading; installs protective devices to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.* Enters addresses and shipment details into computer system and labels all shipments.* Determines method of shipment by examining items to be shipped, destination, route, rate, and time of shipment; works with custom broker freight forwarder.* Completes any pertinent customs paperwork for international shipments.* Verifies identifying information and quantity and condition of items.* Loads and unloads materials to and from designated storage area; stacks or piles materials.* Contributes to the department continuous improvement culture.* Maintains a clean and organized work area.* Maintains confidentiality of all matters.* Other duties as required.**Facility Specific Additions to Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:*** Unpacks and checks stocked received against purchase orders and invoices.* Identifies and resolves shortages and damaged stock inventory.* Examines items for damage occurring in transit; performs cursory inspection for obvious defects and compares with purchase orders and part master information, to verify accuracy of incoming shipment.* Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Quality department.* Receives proper documentation for shipments.* Inputs data accurately and timely into the computer system.* Responsible for inventory control and/or storage.* Uses merchandise moving equipment such as hand-trucks or pallet jacks, to move shipments from receiving platform to storage area.* Works with Safety team to complete team and create new MSDS for any hazardous materials received.* Assists with unloading, handling and moving freight as needed.**QUALIFICATIONS****Education/Certifications & Experience:****Required*** High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.* Valid driver's license in state of residence required.* 1 Year of prior small part or electronic assembly experience* Forklift certified* Lithium Battery certification**Preferred*** Experience assembling shipping crates, palletsetc**Competencies, Skills and Knowledge:****Required*** Good oral and written communication skills - Expresses thoughts clearly, both orally and in writing, using good grammar. Involves basic arithmetic and numerical concepts and uses measurements and standard tools and formulas to calculate data.* Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision - Prioritizes and plans work activities; is punctual and dependable to use time efficiently.* Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite - Picks up on technical things quickly; can learn new skills and knowledge is good at learning new industry, company, product, or technical knowledge; does well in technical courses and seminars.* Ability to act as a team player and work well with others**Preferred*** Knowledge of shipping practices of UPS, FedEx, and local trucking companies.**Physical Demands:*** Able to lift and carry 50 pounds* Have the ability to bend, squat down, and reach above your head* Ability to climb stairs and ladder* Must stand for extended periods of time (8 hour work days/5 days a week) while wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on production floors.* Must be able to easily and regularly lift and/or move, pull, or push up to 75 lbs.* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.**Pre-Employment Requirements:*** Drug and alcohol test* Motor Vehicle Record Check* Education and certification check* Criminal background check* ChampionX is currently requiring vaccination against Covid-19 for all customer-facing roles where this condition is requested by the customer and therefore, an essential job requirement.
