Exciting Financial Specialist position open to join the Platforms FP&A team supporting the Embedded Finance and Banking-as-a-Service team within the Platform and Enterprise Product organization at FIS. This role will primarily focus on supporting the P&L with a focus on revenue and related COGS via budgeting, forecasting, and supporting month-end close. Additionally, you will participate in modeling and analysis of new product and pricing strategies, sales pipeline to revenue reporting, and other ad-hoc support.

The Platform and Enterprise Product team is dedicated to evolving both our products and our modes of customer engagement for the dynamic financial services landscape. Our platform vision is enabling a connected FIS. The full breadth of our offering is unlocked for Institutions, Merchants, eCommerce, FinTech's and Innovators - powered by platform capabilities built on the latest technologies and design patterns. The team works closely with business, product, sales, engineering, and operation teams to accelerate our platform journey. We are looking for hands-on finance professionals that can drive innovation while implementing industry leading finance capabilities.

What you will be doing:

This role is highly challenging, yet satisfying, and provides a fantastic opportunity to be part of the platform journey at FIS: Perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Assist in designing, developing, and tracking key performance indicators to drive strategic input to improve the business. Research and compile data to forecast and prepare annual and monthly budget projections for a division or similar group of organizations. Meet with organizational unit/department managers to review financial performance and future forecast. Track revenue and expenses on a monthly basis, comparing actual to forecasted figures and make necessary adjustments. Prepare reports for management summarizing results of research, analyses and evaluation of any discrepancies. What you will need:

Motivated and quick learner Curiosity and problem-solving skills Ability to navigate through change and complexities Ability to maintain positive working relationship with internal clients Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and problem areas Bachelor's degree is required, Finance or Accounting highly preferred Minimum 2-3 years of experience, preferably in a fast-paced fintech or other tech-focused environment Good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles as well as company accounting policies, procedures and standards Analytical and statistical examination skills Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish work to ensure critical deadlines are met Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and its Google equivalents Preferably experience with Hyperion and Oracle or similar financial reporting systems Added bonus if you have:

Experience in financial services or technology companies highly desirable Experience in fast paced innovate finance teams Knowledge of FIS' products and services. Knowledge of financial services industry or FinTechs. Knowledge and experience with Embedded Finance or Card as-a-Service platforms. FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $75,590.00 - $123,220.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
