Summary of Position

This job operates in a professional office environment. Reports directly to the Vice President of Loan Servicing. Provides prompt and courteous service to external and internal clients while assisting with loan servicing operations as it relates to mortgage and consumer lending. Adheres to applicable loan servicing rules and regulations. Maintains confidentiality of Bank's customers and processes while adhering to Information Security standards.

Essential Functions

Assists internal and external customers by providing information about loan accounts in person, over the telephone and by email and letter correspondence.Serves as backup to upload commercial loans.Completes file maintenance to the loan accounting system.Quotes and processes internal and external payoffs.Primarily responsible for payment of private mortgage insurance. Serves as backup with escrow payments such as homeowner's insurance.Reviews various internal reports daily, weekly, and monthly, as needed, and determines if any further action is required. Corrects teller posting and other input errors on loans.Loan Control balancing and un-postable corrections.Assists with escrow analysis.Insurance processing of all insurance received.Quality control and loan system check back responsibilities.Filing and scanning for Loan Servicing areaWeekly and monthly indices updates.Return mail processing

Monday to Friday

Requirements

Required:

High school diploma; practical experience with basic hardware and software.

Preferred:

Two to three years of loan servicing experience, will consider two to three years of banking experience.

Physical Requirements

Sufficient stamina to sit and read a computer screen for extended periods of time. Ability to perform repetitive motion with wrists, hands, and/or fingers and otherwise perform the essential functions of the position. While performing these duties, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
