We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Accountant to join our team in the property management company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in property management.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all accounting functions for assigned properties
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
Review and approve accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Assist with budgeting and forecasting for assigned properties
Collaborate with property managers and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in property management
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
