Job Title : Warehouse Associate Required Skills : The primary function of this position is to expedite the incoming and outgoing freight. Location : Phoenix,Arizona **Job Description****Responsibilities:*** The primary function of this position is to expedite the incoming and outgoing freight.* Warehouse Associates have various functional duties to include; receiving, stocking, pulling, staging, loading and shipping freight. Warehouse Workers are also expected to process and maximize warehouse space usage as well as any other general duties as necessary.* This position aids in the support of our customers by accurately keeping the parts available to be the dominant supplier in the automotive aftermarket.* Checks, verifies and pulls freight for customer needs,* Perform daily inspections of appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including but not limited to liftgate, pallet jack and hand truck, radio frequency scanners and printers.* Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with established safety procedures as needed to maintain the warehouse stock.* Verify and complete required documentation and reports* Comply with hazardous material regulations and procedures* Assist in maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment at all times Comply with all applicable laws / regulations, as well as company policies / procedures**Experience, Education, and Abilities:*** Requires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education.* Must be functionally literate (able to read numbers, read/write at a 4th grade level).* Must be able to pass a background check.* Must be able to work in a drug free atmosphere.* Ability to lift / carry by hand freight weighing up to 50 pounds several times a week.* Able to push/pull up to 300 lbs using mechanical aids, such as hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc.* Ability to bend, twist, squat, climb, push and pull and move at a quick speed of pace.* Ability to work with computer scanning equipment.* Ability to follow instructions and complete required training.* Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.* Must have basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors and customers).* Shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00PMExperience : 2+ Years
