Position Summary: The Project Manager has overall responsibility for project delivery. The Project Manager ensures on-time and on-budget delivery to SSE's clients by overseeing and managing the project delivery process from inception to completion. The Project Manager serves as the project's internal and external primary point of contact and regularly interacts with clients and internal resources to clarify scope, schedule resources, and manage delivery.
Internal Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Within SSE (other duties may be assigned):
Serve as primary client POC for your assigned project(s) and communicate regularly to provide updates, get information, obtain approvals, and keep the project movingPlan, manage, and drive the full project life-cycle with both internal and external stakeholders, through inception, design, commercial operations, fabrication, installation, teardown, debrief, and client follow-upDrive and achieve project revenue, gross profit, and client satisfaction goalsAccurately define and capture event/project scope of work for new and existing projectsEffectively manage the design and commercial operations process.Generate and maintain appropriate project documentation (submissions, approvals, SOWs, POs, schedule, change orders, etc.)Develop, maintain, monitor, communicate, and drive the project scheduleCoordinate with resource leaders to ensure resources are available to support the project timelineCommunicate with field ops supervisor regularly to coordinate execution, capture/communicate change, and foster timely client communication and controlCoordinate estimating support with commercial ops manager. Consult as required to support estimating efforts and secure opportunities.Comply with company policies, procedures, and reporting requirementsUpdate Sr. Project Manager regularly. Elevate any issues/opportunities quickly. Ask for help and seek mentorship when needed.Generate and update macro project schedule via MS Project or Monday.com. Distribute to the team and track against baseline to identify issues and/or change order opportunities.Ensure generation and weekly maintenance of project productivity trackingIdentify, capture, communicate, and resolve change orders as they arise.Timely submission of invoices and follow-up on collectionsMeet with event staff regularly to finalize scope, facilitate execution, foster the relationship, and drive account growthPeriodically visit event/project sites to monitor and ensure on-time delivery.Perform on-site walkthroughs to ensure quality installations and client satisfactionAdditional Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize and understand internal technology (i.e., Monday.com, Nexus, Trello, etc.)Coordinate, collaborate and assist with other Sr. Project Manager as requiredDemonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with company best practicesManage and prioritize many tasks/projects at one time. Effective use of time management.Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent project management and organizational abilities including attention to detail, follow-up, and thoroughness.As the main SSE contact, ability to maintain client relationships, ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationshipsCompetent managing multiple projects until successful completion in a fast-paced environment, which may require flexibility and the ability to prioritize as neededExcellent communication skills, both oral and written; including being an excellent listener, potentially identifying new opportunities with ClientsProficient with computers including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn project management software and other internal technical toolsCapacity for collaboration, while leading, coaching, and motivating other team members on a proactive basisGeneral:
Must maintain a validly issued and current driver's licenseEducation and Work Experience:
Construction management degree preferred3-5 Years of construction project management experience preferredReporting to this Position: None

This position secondarily works in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity. The noise level in the work environment is commensurate with a construction site.
Expected Hours of Work/Travel: This is a full-time position with fluctuating days and hours of work during travel. When not traveling, this position requires office work in the Winston Salem office during regular business hours. Days and hours of work are dictated by the nature of the project which can include long hours and weekend work. This position involves travel of up to 50+ days per year.
