We provide a variety of kitchen, bath and other residential components to both manufacturers and suppliers.To operate industrial truck(s) to transport materials to and from work areas, machines and loading docks in a safe and efficient manner to meet production requirements.**Responsibilities:**This description represents the most significant job duties but does not exclude other work duties that may be assigned as needed.* Receives job assignments, instructions and related documentation from supervisor/team lead.* Maintains the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.* Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notifies the supervisor/team lead of any existing or potential safety issues or malfunctions.* Follows all standard operating procedures and notifies the supervisor of potential procedural improvements.* Delivers materials to appropriate work centers or storage areas before they run out. Stages materials in a logical, safe fashion.* Conducts required preventative maintenance/inspection on forklifts.* Meets or exceeds production standards for the position.* Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes all documentation related to this position; i.e., production reports, accurate time keeping, etc.* Monitors products constantly to ensure that quality standards are being met, and rejects product that does not meet quality standards.* Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.* Communicates accurately and efficiently with co-workers to determine their needs and with other departments and management.* Assists in physical inventory as needed. Enters inventory into computer as needed.* Assists other material handlers and in other areas when the workload permits or requires.**Qualifications:**- High school education or equivalent preferred (***not required***)- Previous experience driving propane or diesel forklift- At least 6 months experience working in a production, manufacturing or warehouse environment- Ability to perform repetitive work requiring high levels of concentration- Ability to lift 25 pounds- Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow- Ability to work in fast paced environment- Ability to pass OSHA required testing**Work Schedule**: 7:00 pm to 5:30 am Mon- Thur with overtime on Friday as needed.***NOTE: For individuals with nut allergies, please be advised that there is the potential to be exposed to nut products when working in our facilities.*****Qualifications****Skills****Behaviors****:****Motivations****:****Education****Experience****Required****1 year:** Previous experience operating/driving Industrial Fork Truck**Licenses & Certifications**
