Job Summary:CDH, PC is seeking an eager and motivated Tax Intern to join our Accounting & team in our Itasca, IL location. The Intern will gain experience in the tax and accounting fields, as well as learn more about the field of public accounting.
2025 InternshipSpring: January- AprilSummer: May-AugustFall: September - DecemberCompensation & Benefits:The successful applicant will receive $26 per Hour, paid Bi-Weekly.Responsibilities:
Prepares tax returns and special consulting services, preparing reports, statements, returns andworkpapers; responds to tax notices and prepares initial drafts of lettersPrepares personal property returns and occupation tax reports and personal, corporate andpartnership tax returns of varying complexitiesPrepares amended and carryback returns for NOLsCompletes S-election and requests for accounting changes forms, application for employeridentification number forms, application for state employer identification number, unemploymentinsurance accounts, as neededUses the firm's software programs to automate the data transfer process from the trial balanceto the financial statement and preparation of the tax returnMay research changes in regulations and share with team membersOther duties and special projects as assignedRequirements:
In the process of obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related fieldAbility and willingness to travel to clients within the Firm's market areaLong-Term Opportunity
