Our client, a major distribution site,is seeking Forklift Operators to join their team in Virginia Beach, VA. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse team transferring and receiving materials in the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have communication, teamworkand problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Forklift OperatorLocation: Virginia Beach, VAPay Range: Multiple shifts starting at $17.00/hr. (shift differential pay available)
Contract to Hire Opportunity!Whats the Job?Receiving work orders from Supervisor or computer systems to move products on the warehouse floorRecords material transfers, storage and other movements on PCs, CRTs, or hand-held electronic units, ensuring accuracy of informationOperating a forklift or a Turret Truck (training/certification onsite)Loads trucks or other transit containers with completed orders of finished products of goods in processUnloading raw materials, goods in process, and/or finished goods from trucks or other transit containers and transfers items to designated stock locationWhats Needed?Experience or training operating a forklift is requiredAbility to stand for long periods of timeHigh School Diploma or GEDAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. regularlyReliable TransportationWhats in it for me?Long-term employmentWeekly payOvertime availableFull benefits within 90 days (health, dental, vision, 401K)If this is a role that interests you and youd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
