We are seeking a talented and experienced Industrial Designer to join our team and help us expand our brand presence. You will work closely with our product development team to bring new designs to life from concept to production. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cycling and a strong understanding of the design process, from ideation to manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the product development team to create and design new electric bicycles that meet customer needs and requirements.Guide the creation and establishment of brand icons.Develop sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design concepts and ideas to the team.Conduct research to identify and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in the electric bicycle industry.Use design software and tools to create detailed designs and specifications for production.Work with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure designs are feasible for production and meet cost requirements.Lead guide design reviews and provide feedback to ensure the final product meets design and quality standards.Participate in user testing to ensure the final product meets user needs and is user-friendly.Communicate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are met.Requirements and skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field.At least 3 years of experience in industrial design, with a focus on consumer products.Proficient in design software and tools, such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, and KeyShot. Quick Adaptive to new technology such as Chat GPT and Mid journey.Strong understanding of the design process, from ideation to manufacturing.Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Passion for cycling and an understanding of the electric bicycle industry.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Experience with bike design and manufacturing is required.KEYS TO SUCCESS
