The Role and What You'll Do:
The role of Sr, Art Director is to be a visual storyteller and creative problem solver who finds new and unexpected ways to drive results for our clients. We will encourage you to use every tool in your creative arsenal, not just your computer, to create meaningful work that you can be proud of. We build, we draw, we take pictures, we geek out on tech, and we get our hands dirty to bring our ideas to life.
As a Senior Art Director at 160over90, you will typically partner with a Sr. Copywriter on various creative assignments.
As the Art part of the team, you have a passion for design and keen understanding of the specific demands of traditional and digital media, as well as experiential. You get excited by not just making great work, but by making great work that actually works.
In addition to helping solve creative briefs and occasionally meeting with clients, Sr. Art Directors at 160 are killer in their craft and guide the efforts of junior creatives. As hands-on cross-functional team members, Sr. Art Directors achieve strategic goals and meet client expectations with oversight from the creative leads on concepting and/or production. You will create the innovative and memorable cross-channel work that continues to make our agency, and our clients stand out and talked about in the industry and around the proverbial water cooler.
You are a creative athlete, and create campaigns across a variety of platforms including developing content (digital, social, and above the line), paid and organic social, print, experience design, OOH and more. In addition, Sr. Art Directors are responsible for brainstorming creative concepts with the team, developing original campaigns, and support the art perspective in client presentations. You express your ideas clearly not just through art direction, but face-to-face, zoom box-to-zoom box.
