Associate Director- FormulationsLocation: Branford, Connecticut 06405KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLeading customer formulation development projects (primarily pharmaceutical) and interfacing with clients as a key contactProviding technical and business feasibility assessments for proposed technologiesLeading development of new technologies using both internal and external resourcesManaging a group of scientists and engineers including experimental oversight and career developmentRecommending new capabilities and instrumentationREQUIREMENTSPh.D. in chemical engineering, pharmaceutical science, chemistry, or a related scientific disciplineExperience in pharmaceutical or aligned industry of at least 8 yearsEvidence of leading formulation projects to completionExperience assessing and developing new technologies in the pharmaceutical fieldSupervisory experience leading a group of scientists/engineersEvidence of excellent scientific writing and oral presentation skillsAbility to interface successfully across the organization and with external partnersAuthorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis for any employer without the need for sponsorship
