Non-Invasive Cardiologist
The division of cardiology at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center offers an exceptional opportunity for a full time BC/BE Cardiologist to join a busy, well-established cardiovascular disease practice covering one community hospital on the North Shore of Boston. Located on the Beverly Hospital campus you will work closely and collaboratively with seven cardiologists and two advanced practitioners. You will also provide ER/inpatient consult services at the hospital. The group provides general cardiology, EP and Interventional Cardiology services. Specialists in TAVR and advanced heart failure also rotate to the practice. Call schedule is Q6 nights, weekends and holidays.
Additional training/certification in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology is welcome.
Beverly Hospital is a 227-bed medical center and acute care facility that serves the healthcare needs of residents of Beverly and its surrounding communities. The hospital has a state-of-the-art cardiovascular center, including a cardiac catheterization laboratory that supports elective and emergency coronary interventions. Twenty-four-hour emergency services are available. and Beverly Hospital is a Level III Trauma Center designation.
Located just north of Boston, the North Shore area provides excellent school systems, abundant cultural activities in a world class city and driving distance to the mountains and seacoast throughout New England with cultural events, festivals and family activities throughout the year.
On March 1, 2019 Lahey Health merged with four other local hospital organizations (Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, New England Baptist, Mount Auburn, and Anna Jaques hospitals) to form Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH). BILH employs 35,000 individuals making it the second largest employer in the state, and consists of over 200 care locations including 13 hospitals with over 2400 beds and 5 ambulatory surgery centers. Approximately 4,300 physicians are associated with BILH including 840 primary care physicians managing 1.3 million patients.
