ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops, implements, manages, maintains, administrative processes related to utilities including but not limited to RFI, submittals, change orders and close out documentation
Coordinates materials, vendors, subcontractors, Superintendent and Project Managers that may report to this position
Provides clients/owner with notification of changes to the work and submit cost accordingly
Represents company to client, owner, and other entities
Attends various preconstruction meetings, conference calls, etc.
Participates in budget forecast, and assures compliance of such
Generates pay applications and other required documents to be submitted/owner for approval
Provides ideas and innovation for the project to increase inefficiency for the project
Ensures safety compliance is carried out throughout the construction process
Ensures compliance with quality requirements, standards, project specifications
Generate construction schedule and ensures construction schedule is met
Defines scope of work for subcontracts to be awarded and generate and execute subcontracts and purchase orders. Reviews bids and recommends subcontractors and suppliers for awards of work
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Science, or equivalent experience
Minimum of two (3) years of experience of progressive responsibility on similar construction projects
Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams (design and construction engineers, superintendents, inspectors)
Experience on large highway, paving, and/or utility relocation projects
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Excellent command of Microsoft Excel
Cost control and scheduling experience
Proven experience in managing and directing people
Other Duties as Assigned
