Sr. Functional Analyst - Lead

Sedulous is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst Lead. The qualified candidate will conduct analysis and recommends improvements, or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters. Provides analytical support for DoD/Federal agencies and departments, including:•Advanced expertise in systems operations / management processes / measures of efficiency and integrity / translates user requirements / develops specifications;•Advanced understanding of current and contemplated operations for developing, defining, and coordinating user requirements;•Translates user requirements into system specifications, data management plans, configuration management plans, life cycle management documentation, integrated logistics support plans, and related operational summaries;•Assists in the design, development, analysis, testing and maintenance of logical and physical databases;•Develops specification manuals and user documentation for client or user personnel, and gathers information from users, defines work problems, and designs a system and procedures to resolve problems:•Demonstrates applied proficiency with analytical techniques and tools / modeling and simulation practices / operations research techniques / system design and support;•Develops surveys / business process reengineering strategies / conducts policy analysis;•Identifies suitable analytical methods, scope of applications / benefits achieved; and•Experience providing briefings, technical white papers and results of analyses to diverse audiences.
Required Skills•Bachelor's, Master's, +20-yrs. applied interdisciplinary analysis supporting major programs and federal initiatives;•Demonstrated expertise with models and functions supporting systems analysis;•Ability to work independently and in small teams to meet deadlines;•Proficiency with MS Excel / MS Word / MS PowerPoint / SharePoint / agency-specific analytical tools and support systems; and•Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Specialized Skills•DAWIA, or FAI certification preferred;•Strong Writing Skills.
