We are seeking a

Principal level

Software Engineer with a focus on cloud infrastructure and security to join our team. In this role,

you will be a critical

player ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our AI-driven platform.

You'll be directly contributing to the evolution of our infrastructure, ensuring it’s resilience, efficiency, and readiness to meet the challenges of scale.

Your Opportunity

Engage in the design, management, and enhancement of our production environments through Terraform, adopting best practices to ensure infrastructure consistency and high standards. This involves implementing performance baselines, establishing efficient delivery pipelines, and maintaining robust production health and security posture.

Elevate system security and compliance, alongside optimizing private network configurations, by providing technical leadership within collaborative, cross-functional teams. This effort aligns with building and implementing impactful solutions that foster engineering excellence.

Lead on CI/CD processes, enhancing deployment cycles to boost team velocity and confidence.

Contribute to the collaborative effort of deploying new features and services, troubleshooting, and resolving infrastructure-related issues.

Explore, prototype, and productionize advanced infrastructure solutions, such as Virtual Private Clouds (VPC), to further enhance our platform's capabilities. This involves actively seeking out new technologies and methodologies that can be integrated into our existing systems to drive continuous innovation and improvement.

Your first 3 months

You have a strong grasp of Samaya infrastructure, architecture, performance concerns, SDLC and practices. You have proactively identified and delivered improvements to these as well as to our efficiency and effectiveness as a team.

You have assessed our platform’s security and compliance posture and you have identified gaps with a prioritized action plan, and you have actively contributed to initiatives such as introducing VPC and SOC2 compliance.

You are finding opportunities to learn, mentor and promote best practices in areas of your expertise. Your colleagues count on you for your technical advice.

What you’ll bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

5+ years of experience with software development with a primary focus on managing cloud-based services and infrastructure.

Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.

Practical experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

Strong background in Kubernetes orchestration.

Experience with GPU orchestration and optimization.

Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

Demonstrated experience with continuously monitoring and improving security posture.

Deep understanding of CI/CD methodologies.

Passion for technology, with a continuous learning mindset.
