As a Senior Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of provider organizations (health systems, hospitals, physician groups, ACO/CIN, integrated delivery systems, AMCs, etc) to achieve growth objectives through enterprise strategic plans, service line plans, partnerships, M&A, and new market entry strategies. You will be a member of our Healthcare Strategy Solutions practice and part of a team responsible for solving the most complex and strategic issues faced by hospitals, health systems, and medical groups. Typically, Senior Consultants work on multiple assignments at any given time and receive exposure to a broad range of healthcare projects, including: strategic planning, healthcare reform readiness, physician/hospital integration, financial/risk modeling, and merger and acquisition design. You will be working on a variety of small project teams at the office providing regular mentorship from seasoned Guidehouse Consultants as well as some work at clients allowing you access to senior client executives.Responsibilities
Assist seasoned consultants in developing project approach, strategies, and work plans.Perform detailed, quantitative analysis; build Excel models; and prepare operational and financial projections.Conduct stakeholder interviews.Supply data and/or quantitative info. that develops project findings and recommendations.Prepare project materials and reports.Work with the larger teams and as well as take the lead on presentation of final deliverables that go to client sponsors.Assist in design and implementation of recommended solutions.Work with several project teams and Guidehouse Associate Directors and Executives.Effectively communicate with Guidehouse management and client staff.What You Will Need
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university3+ years of applicable professional experience (e.g., hospital administration/operations and/or healthcare consulting experience)Experience working with primary care practices, medical groups, and ACOs/CINsExperience developing analytical models and structuring methodologiesDemonstrated diagnostic, analytical, and quantitative skillsDemonstrated management of smaller work streams or deliverablesAdvanced Excel expertiseAbility to travel up to 75%What Would Be Nice To Have
Master's Degree from an accredited universityTrack record of efficiency, flexibility, creative problem-solving, self-motivated, analytical and highly-organizedProven ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within team structuresEntrepreneurial spirit and excitement toward promoting Guidehouse’s growing healthcare practiceFinancial modeling/planning skills a plusThe annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.What We Offer
