Electrician on 1st and 2nd shift . This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who can demonstrate critical thinking abilities, self-reliance, initiative, drive and the ability to work in a team environment.

Position Summary:

Ensure the continued functioning of electrical equipment by its proper installation, maintenance, and repair. Work as part of a team to improve plant reliability and efficiency. Daily communication with the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Planner to improve plant reliability.

Responsibilities:Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and demos the electrical parts of industrial equipment and facilitiesProvide safe, reliable and efficient operation by observing the local, state, and nationalelectrical-code regulations that pertain to the work being doneLog time and material usage into CMMS for PMs and corrective maintenanceAssists in supporting the company's preventative maintenance programMaintain proper housekeeping in all areasAssist in other areas of plant maintenance as requiredAll other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:

Display skills equivalent to that of a Journeyman Electrician; Specifically, but not limited to:Installing and repairing electrical components such as electrical panels, breakers, wiring systems, and controlsBending and installing conduitPulling wire for installsInstalling an array of fixturesThreading and installing hanging anchorsCleaning circuit boards and contactsWilling to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.Electrical troubleshooting knowledgeAbility to understand schematics, blueprints, and other technical documentsKnowledgeable in pertinent electrical codes and regulationsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers at all levelsMust exemplify the ability to work with minimal supervision. Self-motivated.Ability to demonstrate self-reliance in all aspects of maintenanceExcellent customer service skills such as problem solving, timeliness, and follow-up- requiredMust be able to demonstrate the ability to enhance PM and PDM maintenance strategiesBenefits Package
