We are looking to hire an Site Manager/Erector

Overview:

Performs on-site technical and operational support in the design, development, installation and

maintenance of equipment and systems of a complex nature. The Site Manager / Erector is responsible for coordinating the site erection with the customers contractors and verifying / documenting that equipment installation is performed to Primetals standards. Responsible for coordinating other Primetals Site Erectors, Fluids Specialists and Electrical/Automation personnel while on site. Reports to the Manager of Site Services

Responsibilities:

Performs complex site surveys to develop base and/or installation design plans.Checks the packing notes for conformity with the bills of materials and notifies the Managers of nonconformitiesEnsure the preconditions for the execution of installation are fulfilled.Performs the review of complex task plans, drawings, and installation schematics and provides continual guidance throughout task duration.Identifies and resolves more complex problems and applies problem-solving skillsin order to rectify most situations at site.Review the details and planning prepared by the installation company.Completes and submits detailed reports covering all job activity.Performs training of customers to maintain and adjust complex equipment.Performs the maintenance of complex tools, test equipment, calibration items, etc.Required Knowledge/skills, Education and Experience:

BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience (5 years).Broad knowledge erection and surveying equipment.Must be able to read engineering drawings, work with Optical instruments.Microsoft Product knowledge, all office products, CADProven ability to work with customers.Ability and desire to travelPreferred Knowledge/skills, Education and Experience:

BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience (10 years).Knowledge of fluid systems, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Lubrication, Water and reading fluid circuit drawingsKnowledge of Electrical and Automation schematics.
