MANUFACTURING QUALITY INSPECTOR/CMM OPERATOR (PM)

Full Time Position

On site in Sun Valley, CA

Schedule: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Compensation Range: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour (depending on experience + night differential pay)

We are looking for a Manufacturing Quality Inspector/CMM Operator who is responsible for interpreting blueprints and sketches to ensure that dimensional characteristics of size, shape, and feature location are correct and meet specific standards before they are used in the manufacturing process.

Job Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required3+ years of experience in an inspection environment (Aerospace Preferred)Basic math skills requiredAbility to lift up to 30 lbsComputer skills with various programs (Microsoft Suite, Zeiss, Calypso)Knowledge of manual machines, lathes, grindersKnowledge of aerospace standards (AS 9100, ISO 9001)

Job Responsibilities:

Read and review blueprints to determine part dimensions and tolerances of finished work piecesPerforms sequence of operations and setup requirementsIdentify ideal method of inspection for parts using CMMAbility to use machine shop tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators)Provides support to leadership team as neededPerforms other duties as assigned
