OverviewAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Nuclear Medicine Technologists (NMT) to support operations at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System located at 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304. Services to be provided include the full range of Nuclear Medicine department operations. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers’ success as if it is their own.ResponsibilitiesMust be able to work successfully in all aspects of Nuclear Medicine imaging without the benefit of direct, onsite physician supervisionResponsible for data acquisition, processing, preparation, and transmission of complicated, completed diagnostic images for Nuclear Medicine physician interpretationServes adults from 19-65 years and geriatric patients over 65 years of ageMust be able to evaluate and provide care based on the special needs associate with the age of the patientResponsible for the secretion and creation of an appropriate image data set sufficient to answer the clinical question(s) posed by referring physiciansPerforms procedures entailing the production of organ maps of distribution of radioactivity following their administration to the patientSets up and calibrates the imaging equipment and instruments on a daily basis, checking their performance and reliability prior to beginning any patient studyCompletes appropriate patient prep, data, acquisitions processing, analysis of data and computer transmission to the core facilityQualificationsCompletion of a CHEA- and JCERT-accredited Technologist training programCertified in Nuclear Medicine Technology by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)

American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT (N)American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is requiredA minimum of two (2) years of proven clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine Imaging in a Level 1 hospital settingMust have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 monthsPrior VA experience is desirableNo sponsorship availablePay Range: $85.00 - $90.00 hourlyAll candidates must be able to:

Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift

Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist

Lift up to 20 lbs

Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance

Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
