Our client is a 200+ bed, financially stable community hospital that is writing the next chapter for itself in a brand new facility currently under construction.
They also have affiliations with Northwestern Medicine, University of Chicago Hospitals and University of Illinois Chicago in order to deliver their patients world class care and medicine. They are searching for a high level Executive Assistant to support their new executive team. To manage multiple executives’ schedules and their work area consisting of administrative and executive support related tasks; work independently and proactively with little or no supervision. EA purpose is to organize, support and control the schedule of the Senior Leadership suite, including, but no limited to, SVP of Mission and Community Development, VP and Chief Nursing Officer and VP, General Council. To fill in for the EA of the President and CEO when needed. To develop professional documents, presentations, and written communications for each executive. Interact with staff (at all levels) and display professionalism and confidentiality.
General Job Requirements: Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, organization, and ability to interact with all levels of professionals. Ability to work independently Ability to adjust priorities quickly and organize multiple tasks simultaneously. 2+ years of experience supporting at the executive level Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex executive meetings Experience assisting management with the creation of PowerPoint presentations Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Experience scheduling travel arrangements for management Type 50 wpm Our client offers an aggressive base salary, great benefits and the opportunity to make a difference in a less bureaucratic environment!
