As a fast growing successful company, we are redefining how tech support benefits our clients.A Day in the Life of our Senior System AdministratorAs a Senior System Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting multiple clients' systems infrastructure needs for both on premise and in the cloud. This includes but is not limited to network security, infrastructure design, office build outs, building moves, remote connectivity, virtualization, on premise to cloud migrations, etc. In addition, you will provide level 3 support to our Help Desk and Desktop Support teams.Who Should Apply:An ideal candidate is self-motivated and passionate about technology, and naturally curious. KDI is looking for someone who enjoys taking an outside the box approach to unique problems by bending existing toolsets.
Daily Objectives
Maintain client's server infrastructure including provisioning, configuration, patch management, updates, backup & restoreMonitor client's server infrastructure for uptimeProactively resolve issuesLeverage automation tools to optimize workflowsDesign and implement custom infrastructure for unique client requirementsTroubleshoot common Server/Systems issuesWork with business process owners to write and implement policy such as access controls, business continuity plans and backup/retention policiesQualifications and Skills
5+ yrs. as a System Administrator with Windows Server /Active Directory /DFS /DNS /DHCP & current technologies3+ yrs experience with infrastructure automation, configuration management and scripting tools (bash, powershell, ansible, terraform, chef, puppet, cloud formation)4+ yrs experience with hypervisor configuration (VMware ESXi)2+ yrs experience with AWS infrastructure & services2+ yrs experience with Linux OS2+ years of experience with Networking HardwareExperience with Storage of large amounts of dataExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to write and maintain technical documentationDesired Skills
Knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRPWorking knowledge of VLAN/Subnet designs, 802.1x wired and wirelessExperience with Azure and GCP, Office 365, Google Workspaces, etc.Infrastructure Monitoring toolsWorking knowledge of PKI (Windows CA, LetsEncrypt)Working knowledge of AWS Devops Tools suiteWorking knowledge of Pure storage
$110,000 - $125,000 a year
