Beverage Bar Helper

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to company and departmental policies and procedures.To assist the bartender(s) and cocktail staff in performance of their dutiesMaintain proper and adequate set-up of bar on a daily basis including before, during and after shift.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment at all times during shift including: removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, picking up and dumping garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing equipmentMaintain and organized barAbility to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items and hotel services.Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner. Ability to interact with the public and provide excellent customer service.Ability to have and make conversationKnow guidelines for serving alcohol with care.Knowing and conveying hotel activities to guestsPerform specific tasks related to bars as assigned: organizing, ordering, stocking and cleaningAbility to lift and carrying product by hand as well as with carts or hand trucksMaintain and organize bars and storeroomsRefill chemicals such as hand soap or glass washer chemicalsAbility to operate a glassware washing machineAbility to re-fill ice bins and beer bins, utilizing ice machinesKnowledge of productAbility to operate a glassware washerAnswering phonesMaintain proper inventory of productMaintain and neat, professional image and appearance at all timesAll other duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
