OVERVIEW

Alpine Investors is seeking a Sr. Associate, Monetization to execute monetization engagements across Alpine’s portfolio in partnership with the GTM team within Alpine Operations Group (AOG). This role, reporting to Nidhi Badaya (SVP, Monetization), assumes responsibility for delivering a standardized monetization program that drives significant, lasting impact across Alpine portfolio companies. Broadly, this hire will drive monetization excellence in Alpine’s portfolio to protect and create equity value. Key outcomes + responsibilities include:

Engagement Delivery and Implementation

: Lead delivery of monetization offerings such as pricing optimization, segmentation etc.

Be a thought partner with CEOs, executives, and Board members to lead Pricing and Revenue Management workshops that deliver successful short- and long-term business outcomes.

Conduct deep data analysis, hypothesis generation, strategy development, and execution.

Develop and execute pricing strategies to maximize revenues and profitability.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.

Execute pricing experiments and A/B tests to validate the effectiveness of pricing models.

Ensure accurate EBITDA generation tracking and reporting.

Portfolio Program for Monetization

: Refine and maintain product catalog offerings and expected outcomes.

Assist companies in establishing core pricing optimization pillars within 90 days.

Continuously improve and maintain program materials, ensuring they meet Monetization Practice standards.

Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in pricing and monetization.

YOU SHOULD HAVE

Proven track record (6+ years) of success in pricing and monetization strategies

Proficiency in segmentation, re-pricing, and optimizing pricing with strong analytical and/or data analysis skills

Proven experience developing processes for improved efficiency and accuracy

Problem solving mindset with the ability to work across simultaneous workstreams and tight timelines

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with C-level executives

Experience with change management and strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

Bachelor’s degree; MBA or master’s degree is a plus

JOB EXPECTATIONS

3+ days in office per week; the role can be based in either our New York or San Francisco office

Occasional domestic travel to both Portfolio Companies and Alpine’s offices

COMPENSATION

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $160,000-200,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
