Job Summary:
The Kinnser skilled and hospice admin at University Home Care is a full-time, salaried management position located in Livonia, Michigan. This role will oversee the coordination and management of skilled and hospice services provided by University Home Care, utilizing the Kinnser EMR system. The goal of this position is to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of skilled and hospice care to our patients while maintaining compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $20 to $25 per hour, with biweekly pay. In addition to competitive compensation, University Home Care offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) retirement plans.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and manage skilled and hospice services provided by University Home Care utilizing the Kinnser EMR system.
2. Oversee the admissions process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all necessary paperwork and documentation.
3. Monitor and maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines related to skilled and hospice care.
4. Conduct regular audits of patient records to ensure accuracy and completeness and address any issues as needed.
5. Supervise and support clinical staff, providing guidance and feedback as needed for performance improvement.
6. Collaborate with other departments and team members to develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality and efficiency of patient care.
7. Serve as a liaison between University Home Care and outside medical professionals, communicating appropriate information and coordinating care for patients.
8. Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of exceptional care to all patients.
9. Provide support and guidance during crisis situations, working with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective interventions.
10. Stay up-to-date on industry standards and changes in regulations and guidelines, ensuring University Home Care remains in compliance with all requirements.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in skilled and hospice care management.
3. Experience with Kinnser EMR system preferred.
4. Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines related to skilled and hospice care.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
7. Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with a team.
