The

Sr. z/TPF Applications Developer, VP

is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:Analyze, design, and develop TPS software solutions in a z/TPF system to address critical project/business requirements.Unit test and provide all required development documentation; support the project from definition through implementation.Develop innovative solutions focused on improving customer experience, reducing cost and accelerating time to market.Provide technical proficiency in dealing with complex solutions requiring mastery of z/TPF capabilities.Collaborate with business representatives, project management, and testing partners during project lifecycle.Lead other developers in building solutions.Qualifications:

10 years of relevant financial, technical, and analytical experience.6 - 10 years direct experience of Citi's TPS application or other z/TPF based application and a solid understanding of the z/TPF operating system as well as strong C/C++ programming skills.Knowledge of the message level interface between front-end systems and IBM z/TPF host.Advanced technical competency with z/TPF, IBM Toolkit, C, PL/1 SABR, XML, HTTPS, MQ, Open API, IBM Assembler and related current technologies.Knowledge of TSO/MVS/ JCL is a significant plus.Highly motivated self-starter that can effectively organize, multi-task and prioritize a wide array of projects.Strong knowledge of software development/deployment methodologies (including Agile or Waterfall models).Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to listen effectively and interpret/record results accurately.Advanced MS Office skills, SharePoint, Confluence, TeamsEducation:

Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
