Responsible for managing the submittal processResponsible for managing the RFI processResponsible for managing the change order proposal processProvide research, backup support, legwork, data entry etc. as requested by the PM and SuptComplete budget revisions and modifications in Viewpoint as required throughout the jobAssist to maintain a high level of safety in alignment with Abbott's core valuesAbility to combine knowledge of engineering methods, construction methods and human management skillsProvide support for planning, scheduling and coordinating projects to meet deadlinesOffer support to the estimating department by soliciting subcontractors for projects as well as managing and distributing plansBe the main point of contact for subcontractors as requested by the Project ManagerIf needed, act as a Project Manager when a Project Manager is unavailableRequired Skills
Strong negotiation and leadership skillsUnderstands accounting, financial statements, job cost, and cash flowHealthcare experience preferredRequired Qualifications
Must be able to pass a drug test4 year degree in a construction related majorMotivated for a long term career in construction2 years' project engineering experienceBenefits
