Position Summary:

You will play a pivotal role in our client's growth by overseeing sales activities within their designated territory. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, you will work autonomously within the Sales department to ensure the achievement of sales and corporate objectives in the region. This role involves recruiting, coaching, and managing a team of Distributors/Direct Sales Representatives while ensuring their compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in the spinal healthcare marketplace.Strong network and connections with surgeon customers, sales representatives, and independent distributors are essential.Leadership qualities with a proactive, hands-on approach to management.Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.Ability to develop and execute a strategic business plan.Exceed quota expectations through effective team management.Responsibilities:Team Leadership:

Recruit, hire, and manage Distributors/Direct Sales Representatives to achieve national sales and corporate objectives. (Currently 5 reps and 25 Distributors)Oversee the overall management of all Distributors/Direct Sales Representatives in the designated territory.Ensure that Distributors/Direct Sales Representatives are in compliance with contractual agreements, company policies, and product knowledge requirements.Provide field training to new sales personnel in collaboration with Product Management.Foster a "Best in Class" Sales Organization.

Sales Management:

Efficiently manage all Distributors/Direct Sales Representatives, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and quota attainment.Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and service delivery across the country.Align regional sales and marketing initiatives with overall sales and corporate objectives.Prioritize and plan independently to meet regional sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.Optimize the use of corporate resources to control expenses in line with corporate objectives.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with other team members to maximize the efficient use of corporate resources while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.Ensure the deployment of marketing and training programs in the field.
