Position

The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) is the U.S. Government agency in charge of designing, building, launching, and maintaining America's intelligence satellites.

Develop. Acquire. Launch. Operate.

Apogee's ideal Scheduler will assist in maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule with integrated milestones and linked dependencies across Infrastructure Services as well as System and Enterprise level Domain milestones. Monitor performance against this schedule to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met and facilitate modifications as required.

What You'll DoCompiling, updating, and delivering the Integrated Master Schedule with integrated milestones and linked dependenciesSchedule and assist in process improvements that will benefit integrating schedulesGather and consolidate schedule data from staff meetings, engineering boards, readiness events, engineering artifacts, and board approved Request for Change (RFC) documentation, etc.Format Microsoft Project documentation in presentable form to include call out boxes, graphics etc. in support of product delivery milestonesOperate the Enterprise Schedule Server Tool, input data, produce reports, and generate schedule artifactPerform critical path analysis to help develop mitigation plans of schedule change impacts and associated risksRequired

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or other STEM degree program or related equivalent additional experience, related in technical disciplineExtensive experience with Microsoft Project, critical path analysis3+ years in Systems Engineering or related field3+ years in developing/managing complex project schedules in a multi-contractor/customer environmentProficient in analytical skills and ability to develop and recommend solutions for problems/issuesDesired Skills

Experience with GEOINT, SIGINT and/or COMM systems and overall space and ground architectureExperience with core Systems Engineering Disciplines (Requirements, Schedule, Risk, Readiness, System Closure, VV&T, etc.)Familiarity with the Intelligence Community, and associated government agenciesExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, and ability to lead technical forumsExperience using Microsoft Office ToolsWhat You'll Love About Apogee
