Expedient continues to grow and is seeking an Area Vice President (AVP) of Sales to lead the sales team in our

Boston, Massachusetts

market.

You must live in the Medford/Greater Boston area in order to be considered for this position.

The AVPfocuses primarily on and executes againstthe region's revenue objectives. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid sales and sales leadership experience in a related IT services, cloud and/or infrastructure-as-a-service business.

This position will play a pivotal role in our growth strategy and the continued success of the company.

A successful AVP should possess sound business acumen, technical aptitude, an existingnetwork of contacts in the market cityand sales leadership experience that will be vital to helpdevelop our sales team in Milwaukee and the surrounding region.Required:

No less than 6years of successful IT solutions-based sales experience in cloud, data center infrastructure, hardware and/or managed services in the Boston areaNo less than 5 years of a proven track record in successfully leading sales teamsBachelor’s degree in business, IT or related discipline highly preferredJoin the team with established contacts and existing business relationships to bring to the positionSolid experience in forecasting sales on a monthly/quarterly basis with a high degree of accuracy, and developing the team’s overall go-to-market strategyUnderstands & applies outcomes-based selling and can develop the sales team accordinglySuccessful track record in a fast-paced sales environmentStrong understanding of pipeline and sales funnel management disciplinesEffective communication and presentation skillsExcellent relationships with customers and partners in

the regional marketResponsibilities:

Attract, hire, educate, coach and retain a consistently high-performing sales team, which includes New Business Account Executives and Existing Client AdvisorsDevelop and maintain a pipelineof qualified sales candidatesDevelop strategic performance plans for each team member and provide ongoing supportto assist them in achieving their respective targetsCollaborate with marketing and other functional teams in theplanning and execution of account development strategies to increase sales and profitabilityProvide accurate sales forecasting, planning and budgeting on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basisSalary for this position is commensurate with experience.OTE at plan is approximately $275k to $325k annually.For more information about Expedient please visit our website at
