Your Career

As a People Team Program Manager, you will provide leadership for complex programs that impact all of Palo Alto Networks. It's no small role - it requires critical attention to detail, complex systems strategy, and pulling large programs together with cross- functional teams. This role will deliver results, enabling teams to execute against a defined set of deliverables.

The ideal candidate will partner with People leaders, COE's and the business to shape and execute our key programs, thriving in a fast-paced, high growth environment within a highly collaborative and execution-oriented setup. At its core, you know that Program Management isn't about tracking dates and timing, it's about making things happen, the right way. It's about being a strategic, helpful partner to accomplish shared goals.

Your ImpactProvide strong program management capabilities, operate in a developing PM environment and lead cross-functional teams and partners to deliver effective business processes and deliver world-class employee experiencesLead key people programs, like Inclusion and Diversity, Learning and Development, and Mergers and Acquisitions. You'll collaborate with People stakeholders to ensure alignment of programs goals to business objectives and our values, development of program work-plan with workstreams, owners, milestones, KPIs, key dependenciesDevelopment and definition of processes and systems requirements to deliver multi-year cross-functional strategic initiativesTrack progress of organizational goals and milestones, communicate progress, change management plans to keep all stakeholders informed, engaged, and inspiredBuild strategic partnerships with key internal stakeholders and external partners, vendors, consultants to deliver on program goalsUse cross-functional knowledge and stakeholder perspectives and seek to understand issues, trends that may influence the business and the projects around themBring a People consultative mindset and deliver programs for the function across a breadth of capabilities (recruitment, compensation, benefits, systems, operations, programs/processes, and on-boarding/engagement)

Your ExperienceExperience with Program Management in complex program development with cross-functional focusExperienced working through M&A, including planning for the people integrationExperience with Inclusion and Diversity strategies and programs, helping larger organizations implement real changeExperience developing a program management methodology in an environment that doesn't have a lot of experience with formal Project ManagementAbility to work across multiple People (HR) functions (staffing, learning & development, operations, communications, etc.) and experience collaborating with all business functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Operations, Legal, etc.)Ability to effectively work in a matrixed environment, to bring structure and focus to the team while being agile in a time of constant changeDemonstrated excellence in communicating and influencing executive leadership with succinct written presentation and thoughtful verbal communications.Comfort navigating a demanding, exciting and unpredictable environmentExperience partnering effectively with cross-functional teams and influencing executivesThe Team Our People team at Palo Alto Networks works throughout the organization to enable...you guessed it, people.
