The

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)

is an integral part of team! BHT staff spend the majority of their time at work with our clients however interact with the entire Treatment Team as well. They assist in coordinating the day to day needs of the facility and clients by monitoring and maintaining head counts, 1:1s, client schedules and activities, and clients whereabouts and behaviors.

Essential Functions:

Delivers outstanding quality care.Honors the challenges, hardships, and triumphs of our clients' recovery journey.Keeps a watchful eye on and records client behaviors, adhering to facility and State requirements.Conducts rounds promptly and accurately, following Management instructions.Champions and reinforces patient safety consistently.Exhibits proficiency in deescalating situations.Offers emotional support to clients by directing them to Clinical resources.Collaborates with Nursing and Medical staff if medical assistance is required.Safely transports clients.Administers urine drug screenings.Oversees the self-administration of medication when necessary.Preferences:

Work experience in the field of behavioral/mental health is preferred but not required.Qualification(s):

Valid Driver's License- MUST BE 21 OR OLDER (insurance requirement)Skills:
