The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the assistant professor level.
Join a growing academic psychiatry department/division and a rich group practice in Southeastern Wisconsin with a multi-disciplinary team that includes academic psychiatrists, nurses, nurse practitioners, psychologists, and other ancillary staff.
Opportunity
Provide expert child and adolescent psychiatric care and consultation to patients and providers on the Children's Wisconsin's in-patient units.Join an experienced and growing hospital in-patient consult liaison service team.Teach and supervise fellows, residents, and medical students rotating on the consult/liaison service.Academic position that requires a combination of patient care, teaching, research, and administrative activities necessary for the function of the department/division.Join a family-friendly department/division with a highly collegial work environment that offers excellent quality of lifeSystem wide integrated Epic EMR systemStrong referral system with an already established patient baseChildren's Specialty Group
A multi-specialty academic group practice with over 600 providers that provides specialty services at Children's Wisconsin and 22 ambulatory clinic locations across Wisconsin and beyond. Established in 2000 as joint venture (50/50) between Children's Wisconsin and Health System and The Medical College of Wisconsin, it is led by a physician chief executive officer and governed by an elected board of directors.
