GENERAL SUMMARY

The Event Sales Manager will solicit business, book, and assist in all aspects of event sales and management of corporate and social group events for our high-end, dine-in movie theater. This position requires excellent relationship-building, sales skills, flexibility, attention to detail, a high level of organization, and exceptional communication and prioritizing skills. Normal work hours will be established but based on business demands, some weekends and after-hours may be required.

POSITION OBJECTIVES

AND ACTIVITIES

1. Objective: Drive event sales

1.1 Activity: Generate new business and build new client relationships. Schedule and conduct in-person visits and meetings with potential clients.

1.2 Activity: Maintain strategic partnerships and relations with studios, agencies, meeting planners, hotels, and other associations.

1.3 Activity: Develop and submit sales proposals to clients and negotiate sales terms within Silverspot guidelines and pricing structure.

1.4 Activity: Keep the CRM (Tripleseat) database up to date and follow up with every warm lead that comes through.

1.5 Activity: Conduct a walk-through of the Theater with new and existing clients or coordinate the same with the theater operations team.

2. Objective: Work with Theater management for the successful execution of events

2.1 Activity: Develop detailed and complete Banquet Event Orders (BEO) using Tripleseat.

2.2 Activity: Conduct alignment meetings and maintain an open line of communication with theater management.

2.3 Activity: Coordinate receipt of all event and screen content including films, digital boards, physical posters, and TV screen content

2.4 Activity:Manage and oversee events on the day of, including problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with staff, organizing vendors, and managing take-down.

3. Objective: Provide excellent customer service and sales support

3.1 Activity: Quickly respond to all event inquiries (incoming calls, emails, or other leads) and convert inquiries into events.

3.2 Activity: Understand the client's vision and goals and translate that into a tangible event experience for the guest. Update clients on order status, new offerings, and any relevant information.

3.3 Activity: Conduct post-event evaluations to determine how future events could be improved and confirm customer satisfaction. Collect feedback from event hosts to improve services and address client concerns.

3.4 Activity: Handle and resolve customer complaints and issues. Ensure quick turnaround times and effective solutions to problems.

4. Objective: Collaborate with accounting for reporting and collections

4.1 Activity: Payments and collections per policy.

4.2 Activity: Set up Silverspot as a Vendor with corporate clients to receive payments.

4.3 Activity: Submit invoices to the Corporate Payment Portals.

4.4 Activity: Create and disseminate monthly sales reports.

4.5 Activity: Collaborate with the Controller with the quarterly sales commissions and payment report.

The individual will report directly to the Senior Event Sales Manager.Must be able to work independently.JOB REQUIREMENTS:

College degree preferredA minimum of 3 year experience in event sales in a catering facility, hotel, or restaurantPHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in a well-lit and well-ventilated office setting on site /hybrid remoteAbility to walk and stand for long periods with clients or help at events.Ability to use hands and mobile dexterity to use phone, laptop, etc.
