Travel Medical Lab Technician in Taos, NM

Job Title: Medical Lab Technologist Location: Taos, NM Work Schedule: 8AM - 5PM Contact Period: 1 - 5 years (Flexible) Payrate: $80/hr Start: January 2024 Key Responsibilities: Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including but not limited to hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and blood banking. Collect, process, and analyze patient samples, maintaining accurate sample identification and integrity throughout the testing process. Record, interpret, and report test results accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining comprehensive and organized laboratory records. Monitor quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and precision of laboratory tests, troubleshoot technical issues, and participate in proficiency testing programs. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field. Certifications: Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), BLS is required. Experience: Experience working as a Medical Technologist in a clinical laboratory.
