Position Summary
The School of Allied Health Professions at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans (LSUHSC-NO) seeks applications from qualified candidates for a full time, 12-month clinical clinician position to serve as a clinician in the Department of Counseling's Child & Family Counseling Clinic.
LSUHSC-NO invites applications for a master's level (or higher level degree) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) (or Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, LPC-S) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT) or Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S) in the Department of Counseling's CACREP accredited program's on site counseling clinic. The successful candidate will maintain an active clinical caseload in the Counseling Department's Child and Family Counseling Clinic (CFCC) and provide services to children ages 2-12 years old. Candidate must have clinical training and preparation as a registered play therapist and a history of providing clinical services to children under the age of 12 years.
