Responsibilities
:
Perform psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management of clients
Prescribing or recommending medication or other forms of treatment or related therapeutic procedures
Complete structured clinical interviews with all new patients
Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess clients' clinical problems and health care needs
Provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including medication, medication review, and therapy
Qualifications
At least 1 year of PMHNP experience is required
PMHNP certification is required
Active NYS nurse practitioner license
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
Compensation:
The pay rate: $90 per hour depending on experience
