You will join our Aerodynamics team to contribute to the development of our CFD tools and applications. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.The RoleContribute to the development of robust yet efficient Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) processes to perform accurate vehicle aerodynamic simulationsDevelop, optimize and automate CFD processes and workflowsDevelop applications to support CFD data analysisImprove CFD accuracy through correlation projectsEvaluate latest CFD techniquesBenchmark CFD softwareWork interactively and efficiently within a multidisciplinary cooperative environmentQualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Aerodynamics Engineering or Computer Science.5 years of relevant experience, automotive or motorsport preferredSolid understanding of CFD modelling and techniquesGood understanding of aerodynamic fundamentalsExperience with software developmentStrong programming skills (Python, MATLAB, Bash, Shell)Working knowledge of various commercial CFD software (pre-processing, meshing, solver and post-processing)Experience with HPC systemsExperience with CAD softwareA team player attitudeOutstanding communication and reporting skillsPreferredExperience with CFD database and CFD data manipulationExperience in F1 or motorsportSalary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
